LOS ANGELES – A former Sooner standout on the hardwood has been charged for a fight at Las Vegas nightclub last month.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Blake Griffin was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
Court records claim Griffin “willfully and unlawfully used force or violence” against Daniel Schuman.
Schuman says the Los Angeles Clippers forward squeezed his hand and shoulder before slapping him in the face.
According to reports, Griffin was upset by cameras flashing in his face and grabbed Schman’s phone.
If convicted, Griffin could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000.
