Former Tulsa police officer in court for allegedly shooting, killing teen

TULSA, Okla. – A former Tulsa police officer was in court today for allegedly shooting and killing a 19-year-old.

Shannon Kepler has been charged with the murder of Jeremy Lake, his daughter’s teenage boyfriend.

According to KJRH, he is also accused of firing at his daughter, Lisa Kepler.

Lisa Kepler was one of the three witnesses to testify Thursday during Kepler’s preliminary hearing.

Another count of shooting with intent to kill was added after a witness said they were grazed by a bullet.

Kepler’s arraignment is scheduled for January 5, 2015.
