TULSA, Okla. — A former Tulsa teacher was charged this week with lewd molestation and lewd proposal against a minor.

Brian Drabek was arrested in April after an investigation found he had been inappropriately messaging a 12-year-old student.

Prosecutors filed charges against him Wednesday.

Authorities say Drabek was a teacher at Thoreau Demonstration Academy when he began sending the alleged messages. Reports say he even invited the young girl to his residence.

Court documents allege that all four incidents Drabek is being charged with involve the same child. But there have been allegations that there are other alleged victims.

“At this time, there’s one known victim, of course in this situation, where you have somebody who has access to kids, we always want to explore the possibility that there might be more,” police said.

As a result of the sexual abuse molestation, the child has been forced to transfer schools and continues in treatment for the sexual abuse she sustained, according to attorney Christopher Bergin.
