Foul play not suspected in death of inmate at Oklahoma County Jail

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are now releasing information about the death of an inmate at the Oklahoma County Jail.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 60-year-old Rita Hyatt’s body was found inside the jail on Saturday.

Hyatt was booked into the jail on Aug. 1 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The medical examiner will determine Hyatt’s cause of death.

However, foul play is not suspected.
