Free watermelon at Capitol to celebrate Rush Springs festival

OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s Watermelon Day at the State Capitol.

Thursday afternoon state employees and visitors will get free watermelon in honor of the 69 annual Rush Springs Watermelon Festival

Rush Spring Rep. Joe Dorman is hosting the Capitol’s watermelon feed with help from the Rush Springs Lion’s Club.

You can get some of the free summer treat from 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in room 412.
