Dads, in honor of you, this weekend is full of family-friendly events designed to keep you and the kids happy without going broke.

Bricktown Blues and BBQ Festival

What dad doesn't like to grill? Head downtown Friday night and Saturday for the Bricktown Blues and BBQ Festival.
Admission is free for all ages to enjoy the live music at the corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma Ave.
Bring a few bucks if you want to sample the delicious smoked BBQ.

  • All-America Selections Trial and Display Gardens - Tour and vote for your favorite flowering plant at the American Garden Award display.
  • 2nd Annual Healthy Living Healthy Planet Expo - Hear from health experts about how diets, medical and holistic treatments and personal choices combine for a healthier you.
  • Farmers Market Summer Appreciation Day - Free horse-drawn carriage rides, door prizes, live music and 100-percent Oklahoma grown/Oklahoma made products for your Father's day celebration.

Father's Day FREE Outdoor Concerts

Why not end the weekend on a musical note with two free outdoor concerts? 
Sunday bring your picnic basket and blanket to see the Al Good Orchestra and their traditional big band style as part of the Sunday Twilight Concert Series at the Myriad Gardens starting at 7:30 p.m.

Or if you are trying to catch the Thunder game, catch Norman's Summer Breeze Concert Series starting at 5 p.m. in Lions Park.
