UPDATE: The Brad Edwards Warmth 4 Winter event at Chesapeake was a huge success!

Generous Oklahomans donated a whopping 2,672 coats in just three hours Wednesday.

With the help of Chesapeake, we also collected more than 5,000 hats, gloves and scarves.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Hundreds more Oklahomans will stay warm through this next predicted winter storm thanks to many generous residents Wednesday night.

NewsChannel 4 joined forces with Chesapeake Energy to bring you an evening of free festive fun while helping others at the same time.

We collected coats for Brad Edwards Warmth 4 Winter along with the Salvation Army at Chesapeake Wednesday night.

The young and young at heart checked if they were on Santa's naughty or nice list, sipped hot cocoa, played in a bounce house and took in the beautiful lights along Western.

Couldn't make it out to the event but want to help?
