Get in on free Halloween fun, fall festivals, a special freebie for Breast Cancer Awareness month and an inexpensive place to start your holiday shopping.

Luther Sleepy Hollow Festival

Bring the family to see the legend at the Sleepy Hollow Festival in Luther Friday night and Saturday. 

Check out the carnival rides, pumpkin decorating, face painting and pony rides at Wild Horse Park. 

Also at this free festival, a tractor pull, costume contests and a giant bonfire to enjoy the crisp air and tell ghost stories. 

Chickasaw Cultural Center Fall Festival

For more fall fun, check out the Chickasaw Cultural Center’s Fall Festival Celebration Saturday.

Expect traditional food, games and fun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visit the center’s trade village and sample roasted corn, blackberry cobbler and fry bread.

The kids can enjoy a pumpkin patch, storytelling and stomp dancing at this free festival.

JCPenney Free Hair Cuts for Breast Cancer Survivors

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and JCPenney is showing survivors they care. 

Their hair salons are offering a free cut and style to all breast cancer survivors. 

Participating salons are also offering a free Sephora free mini lipstick. 

They are donating $1 for every free hair cut to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Friends of the library book sale – Norman

Want to snuggle up with a good read or maybe start your holiday shopping early?

Head to the Friends of the Library book sale this weekend at the Norman Public Library.

It offers more than 50,000 books, DVDs, videos, CDs and records all at bargain prices.
