Gas leak in south Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – A 3-inch gas line was hit by an excavator at 8320 S Pennsylvania Avenue.

Around10:19 a.m., the Oklahoma City Fire Department and Hazardous Materials Unit were on scene and are evacuating several buildings to the east of the building. Fire hoses are deployed and on standby in case of fire.

Oklahoma Natural Gas was contacted. Fire crews plan to keep the area safe as ONG responds and shuts off the gas.
