OKLAHOMA CITY – It will start looking a lot like Christmas at the Oklahoma State Capitol Tuesday night.

Gov. Mary Fallin will flip the switch on this year’s Capitol Christmas tree.

But before the big lighting ceremony, an afternoon of activities is planned.

Students from across the state will decorate several trees throughout the Capitol building Tuesday afternoon

The governor and State Superintendent Janet Barresi will be there to visit with students.

Then, the Capitol tree will be lit between 6:15 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. this evening.

We’re told this year’s tree stands 30 feet tall.
