Gov. Fallin seeks disaster declaration for three Oklahoma counties

OKLAHOMA CITY – Gov. Mary Fallin is requesting a major disaster declaration related to the severe storms and flooding that began June 11.

Gallin requested individual assistance for homeowners, renters and business owners in Caddo, Comanche and Garvin counties.

Officials say 290 homes and businesses were damaged, including 124 that suffered major damage.

If approved, additional counties may be added to the request at a later date.
