Governor orders flags at half-staff to honor Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper

OKLAHOMA — Governor Mary Fallin has ordered that all American and Oklahoma flags on State property be flown at half-staff on Friday to honor the death of an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper.

Nicholas Dees died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2015 while on active duty. In honor of his death, flags will fly at half-mast this weekend, from 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 until 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015.

“His service to our State will never be forgotten,” – Gov. Mary Fallin.
