MARLOW, Okla. – A Marlow man lost his life on a pond in Grady County.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Authorities say Bruce Michael Mullen, 58, was riding on a personal water craft in a farm pond in a pasture in Grady County.
He struck a fence that stretched across the pond.
According to investigators, Mullen was legally blind.
He was knocked off the watercraft, and suffered injuries to his head and neck.
The owner of the land found Mullen was at the bottom of the pond, in about 4 feet of water.
