Grady County welcomes new K-9 officer to sheriff’s office

CHICKASHA, Okla.- Residents in Grady County will see a few new faces when it comes to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.
The department welcomed a second K-9 team.
Deputy Tim Spratt and K-9 Rufus are a state certified K-9 team.
Rufus is a 3-year-old Sable German Shepard and is trained for narcotics detection and tracking.
Deputy Tim Spratt has four years of law enforcement experience.
The team will work in conjunction with Deputy Jason Hefley and Smokey, another K-9 group working with the sheriff’s office.
