OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man was arrested on a series of complaints, including manufacturing child pornography and lewd acts with a child.

On March 11, 2016, an Edmond police officer started an undercover investigation into the sharing of child pornography over the internet.

During the officer’s investigation, she found an individual who had movie and picture files containing child pornography.

On Sept. 23, 2016, after identifying where the suspect lived, investigators served a search warrant at an apartment in the 1400 block of S.W. 59th.

During the search of the home, investigators discovered hundreds of images and videos of child pornography, a probable cause affidavit states.

The pictures and videos showed young girls between the ages of 6 and 12 years old.

Officials say the suspect, 34-year-old Luis Rodriguez Verona, reportedly admitted to downloading and sharing child pornography.

Authorities also found several images of a young girl’s vagina on Verona’s cell phone.

Verona admitted to taking those pictures himself, the affidavit states.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for Aggravated Possession of Child Porn, Violation of the Computer Crimes Act, Distribution of Child Porn, Lewd Acts with a Child, and Manufacturing Child Porn.
