WINSTED, Conn. – A lot of couples plan special surprises during their wedding for their guests.
In some instances, something can even take the happy couple’s family by surprise.
On Friday, Andrew Meadows married his wife, Kelly.
Andrew knew that he could make this once in a lifetime moment even more special.
When Kelly stepped onto the dance floor with her dad, Andrew stepped up to the mic.
He sang “Your Daddy’s Boots” by Dustin Lynch as his new bride danced with her father.
“I guess I just wanted him to really know how much he is loved and that he’s always been a good father to his children,” Andrew told WFSB.
The touching performance even caught the attention of the song’s original artist, Dustin Lynch.
