OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City is experiencing bitterly cold temperatures, and officials are still discouraging road travel.
EMSA, has reported that since Sunday at midnight, to 10 a.m. Monday morning, they have responded to:
88 slips and falls
3 cold exposure
1 cardiac arrest outside
106 motor vehicle crashes with reported injury
Anyone that absolutely has to travel or go outside in these hazardous conditions should use extreme caution.
Make sure you are layering your clothes, wearing shoes with traction, a hat, gloves and carry your cell phone.
Anyone shoveling snow should take frequent breaks.
