UPDATE: Man sets own home on fire in northwest Oklahoma City

UPDATE: Crews on scene said a man may have intentionally set his own home on fire in northwest Oklahoma City Monday morning.

According to preliminary reports, no one was home and no one was seriously injured in the fire near N.W. 10th St. and Classen at about 9:30 a.m.

Authorities now say a neighbor called 911 to say the man next door told him he was going to set his own home on fire.

Officials are investigating the fire on the 1300 block of W. Park Place as a case of arson.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews are working to put out a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City near N.W. 10th St. and Classen.

HazMat crews and arson investigators are on the way to the 1300 block W. Park Place.

Authorities are working to find the owner of the home.

Crews said they are not sure if anyone is inside the burning home.
