OKLAHOMA CITY - There are a lot of veterans across Oklahoma, and many of whom are in need of medical care.
However, experts say that many of those veterans do not know that help is available.
In fact, Oklahoma has seven long-term care facilities that have on site physicians, labs, radiologists and pharmacies to help care for those in need.
Also, the cost of care is free for eligible veterans with a 70 percent or more service-connected disability.
Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs say that eligibility is first granted to WWII veterans, followed by prisoners of war, any wartime veteran and then peacetime veterans.
