OKLAHOMA CITY – High-dollar thieves are apparently on the loose in Oklahoma City.

They are accused of stealing fancy sports equipment and then taking off in a luxury car.

Two separate sporting goods stores were allegedly targeted in the metro.

First the Golfsmith store near Penn and Memorial just south of the Kilpatrick Turnpike.

The second just a few blocks away at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The crime starts when the suspects pull up to the fire lane.

One gets out of the black BMW, goes in, steals the stolen equipment, gets back in and they take off.

Golf clubs, bags and clothing worth more than $3,800 between the two stores taken.

It’s happened at least five times in the last month.

Police describe the suspects as two heavy-set men in their 20s or 30s. They’re about six feet tall.

If you have any information about the man seen in the surveillance photos call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
