OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have tracked down the person who led them on a high speed chase early Wednesday morning.

Oklahoma City Police tried to pull over a vehicle with stolen plates on I-240 near Sunnylane around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers say the suspect didn’t stop and was driving with their headlights off.

They say the car finally went off the road, and crashed into a fence and then into a ravine.

According to police, the suspect ran away, swam across a nearby pond, and then ran into a nearby neighborhood.

Officers found the suspect about an hour later.
