OKLAHOMA CITY – Home Depot says they are going to hire 405 associates in Oklahoma City.

On Wednesday, the national retailer announced they are going to hire 405 associates in Oklahoma City and 80,000 nationwide in preparation for spring, its busiest selling season.

From sales and cashiers to operations and online order fulfillment, opportunities available include both permanent part-time and seasonal positions in the company’s stores and distribution facilities.

Home Depot says college students, retirees and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Home Depot has been hiring about 80,000 seasonal workers every year for a decade, Home Depot spokesman Stephen Holmes told CNN. About half of them turn into permanent employees, he said.
