LAS VEGAS – Package theft is nothing new, especially around the holidays, but a Nevada homeowner had enough of packages being stolen in his neighborhood.

Eric Bardo said he just moved in to his neighborhood, and had already been targeted by thieves.

After installing a home security system,  he decided to get revenge.

“One day, I kind of just thought about cleaning up the poop and putting it in a box and that’s what I did. I put it in there, and taped it up and wrote the address on it and it sat out there for four days and they finally came and got it,” Bardo told KTNV.

Surveillance cameras captured two teenage boys grabbing the box and running from Bardo’s home.

He says he didn’t call the police, but hopes the boys will learn a lesson.

“I didn’t want to call them and say, ‘Somebody stole a box of poop off of my front porch,” Bardo says.
