YUKON, Okla. - An update on breaking news we first brought you yesterday afternoon.

Multiple homes catch on fire in Yukon.

It happened just before 3 monday afternoon.

One home was destroyed another damaged in the 1800 block of Ridgeway near Cornwell and Vandament.

Crews from Bethany, Oklahoma City and Yukon all battled the flames.

Homeowner Darrell Hill said he and his wife had lived in their burned home for 25 years.

They were starting their first remodel that day.

In fact it was the contractor who called the fire department.

"I'm a real believer in the Serenity Prayer - what I can change - and I can't change that. There are things you don't even think about but we're going to be going through them the next couple of days."

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No one was injured in the fire.
