OKLAHOMA CITY-- Police are searching for a killer after a man was gunned down and left for dead inside his pickup truck Friday night.

Authorities were called to the Will Rogers Court Housing Complex just before midnight on Friday.

Lt. Jason Samuel, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said, "Once officers arrived on scene, they located a deceased male subject inside a vehicle with obvious signs of trauma."

Tiffany Jones says she heard four gunshots before coming outside to find a man dead inside a vehicle just feet away from her front door.

Jones said, "It was really scary because we saw the man in his trunk slumped over and they pronounced him dead on the scene."

Crime tape surrounded the area as investigators searched for clues and collected evidence.

Lt. Samuel said, "We don't have any suspect information and there were no witnesses at the scene when we arrived so we don't have any information to go off of right now."

So far, police have not released the victim's identity.

However, witnesses say the victim was an older white man with glasses and shoulder length hair.

Jones said, "It looked like he had a couple of gunshot wounds and blood on his side. I guess he got shot in the neck because they were all on his neck for a little bit."

Terence Blair says some residents in the complex have to live in the midst of crime until they have other options.

Blair said, "I have to pick myself up, so I have to stay here as long as I possibly can even if there is crime happening. I can't do anything about it; I just have to simply deal with it until I can move some place else."

Without eyewitnesses or suspects police don't have any leads or a motive.
