LONGMONT, Col. -- Hot air balloons usually attract attention, but one up in the sky in Colorado had people calling for help.

“There's a hot air balloon on the north end of town, I don't know if he's supposed to be or if he's in trouble,” said one caller into 911.

With a man dangling high above Longmont, people on the ground couldn't help but worry; had something gone terribly wrong.

While it may looked dangerous the man hanging says it was all part of a plan.

"I was having a great workout underneath the hot air balloon," the man dangling from the balloon said.

It turns out the balloon stunt was for a video about a new piece of workout equipment about to hit the shelves.

The company says their stunt wasn't meant to go public until next year and they didn't realize it would create so much publicity.
