Hot weather causes Washington County highway to buckle

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Okla. – Despite the cooler temperatures, the summer heat is still taking a toll on Oklahoma.

Officials say the hot weather caused a stretch of Hwy 75 to buckle between Skiatook and Ramona in Washington County over the weekend.

Crews say it will take them a few days to repair the damage.
