OKLAHOMA – While most of us will remain dry tonight, a complex of storms will move across eastern Oklahoma tonight and a few thunderstorms are possible in central Oklahoma.

Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop tomorrow afternoon along a stationary boundary, mainly for eastern Oklahoma.

Friday will be dry but then the tropical moisture moves in.

The rain will begin in western Oklahoma early Saturday and slowly spread east across the state.

Heavy rain is likely Saturday night through Saturday as remnants from Hurricane Odile hook up with a cold front.

A few weather computer models suggest this storm system could stall out through Monday and Tuesday as well.

If this happens, flash flooding will be a threat.

For now, we will keep the storm chances to Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned for the latest!
