MOORE, Okla. - A double dose of tragedy strikes one victim in Moore.

The woman, who has lived in the same home near 4th and Janeway for a half century, has now had two life altering experiences in the last few weeks.

"I ran in the closet and the house was breaking up all around me. I couldn't believe it," said Dorothy Jordan.

Dorothy had lived in the home for 50 years.

By just a few hundred yards, she just missed being hit by the massive May 20 tornado in 2013.

This time, she wasn't as lucky.

Sadly, Dorothy's husband of the last five decades recently passed away.

It's a tragedy, coupled with losing her home, that Dorothy finds hard to comprehend.

"The tornado was picking on me. My husband passed away a month ago. I just lost my husband and my house. It's kind of overwhelming," she said.

For now, Dorothy plans to live with other family in the area while her home is rebuilt.
