OKLAHOMA CITY - A single mother may soon be without a home. Crooks moved in, crushing her dreams of a new start.

Sara Love just lost her job. She says she spent her entire income tax check to fix up her late uncle’s home.

She was looking forward to living there for free, but now another financial setback after finding nearly everything she bought is gone.

"They took all the paint. They took the sheet rock mud. They took little tools from the scrapers, the tape, the cleaning supplies," Love said.

But not only that, a generator and even her daughter’s birthday presents.

"I'm not going to let her turn 13 and not have anything," Love cried.

"That's just low, why would somebody do that,” Love’s cousin, Cory Langston, asked.

Langston is the one who made the discovery when he went to the home to start work.

"I pulled up and saw the front door wide open," Langston said.

He believes the thieves busted in through the back door and made their way out the front.

"It's just all gone and now I don't have the money to fix it. I can't fix this," Love cried.

If you know who may have stolen from Love and her family call the Oklahoma City Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

You can help the woman by donating to her gofundme account.
