JACKSON, Mich. (CNN) – A Michigan judge had some harsh words for a woman convicted of murdering her boyfriend in a rage.

Camia Gamet, 31, was convicted of murdering 38-year-old Marcel Hill by beating him with several objects around the house, including a frying pan, and stabbing him 12 times with a filet knife.

Gamet claimed she was acting in self-defense and thought Hill was an unknown intruder in their apartment.

During sentencing, she showed a different side.

According to MLive, as Hill’s relative was speaking during the sentencing phase, Gamet was heard saying, “Is that it?’

Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain threatened to duct tape Gamet’s mouth closed, saying the victim’s relatives have a right to be heard.

He then sentenced Gamet to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Judge McBain added that she was relentless in her attack and said, “I hope you die in prison.”
