GLADSTONE, Mo. – An 18-year-old woman who was playing Pokemon Go had to be rushed to the hospital after being hit by a van.

Friends told KCTV that they were out walking and playing Pokemon Go when a van sped by them. Kaitlyn Shelton’s sister yelled at the driver, and that is when they say the driver threw the van in reverse and hit Kaitlyn.

They say they were walking on sidewalks and front yards when the accident occurred.

Shelton, who was pregnant, was rushed to the hospital and underwent an emergency C-section.

Fortunately, Joshua Miles Shelton was born healthy.

Now, police are searching for the driver. Officials told FOX4KC that they have a lead in the case.
