Two arrests have been made in more than half a dozen robberies at car washes around the metro.

Police said Quantray Burton, 22, and Adrian Walker, 20, robbed seven Hispanic men at several different car washes.

According to investigators, 56-year-old Florencio Jimenez was found unresponsive at the Buggy Bath on South Walker.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he died the following day.

Officers said, while he was being robbed, he suffered a fatal stroke.

Burton and Walker were initially arrested on robbery charges but, now, they are facing a charge of murder in the second degree.

Police believe they are the same men who robbed another man at a car wash on South Pennsylvania.

He spoke to NewsChannel 4 but was afraid to show his face on camera.

"I'm glad I'm alive," the victim said Wednesday afternoon.

He said he was washing his car when two men violently attacked him.

"A guy just came up behind me and choked me and, then, he got me in the car, and another guy started punching me in the face," he said. "They broke my nose. So, yeah, I mean, they weren't playing around.”

After putting up a fight, he passed out. When he woke up, he noticed his car was gone.

"I felt like it was a dream,” he said.

He got his vehicle back a day later, but he has been on guard ever since. He did get a little relief though, when he found out arrests had been made in the case.

"I'm glad they're paying their time,” he said. "Why do it to people, you know - people that work hard for their stuff?”

Police are still searching for at least one more person connected with the car wash robberies.

Detectives said it is possible the suspects behind bars could be connected to even more robberies.
