OKLAHOMA CITY – The heat has returned and if you are without an air-conditioned place to go, this summer can be miserable.

That’s why News Channel 4 and the In Your Corner Team are working with the Salvation Army to collect Fans 4 Oklahoma.

Organizers say heat poses a real danger to the elderly, families with young children and those with medical issues.

Fans are critical to keeping those without air conditioning or on a fixed income comfortable during the summer months.

If you would like to help, you can drop off a fan or donate to purchase one at the Salvation Army downtown at 501 S. Harvey.

Scott Hines, the In Your Corner team, the Salvation Army and Rococo’s are hosting another fan drive Monday, July 22.
