A 93-year-old World War II Veteran says he was done wrong by an Oklahoma paving contractor. John
Lovelace has a big problem with a local paver.

He said James Truesdale did more harm than good.

“He messed up our garage,” Lovelace said. “He didn’t close
the door when he started spraying out here. I was in the house and I come out
here and I could hardly see my car from the fog, asphalt fog.”

John, a World War II Veteran was wounded in combat by a
German sniper.

Now the 93 year old’s
daughter, Sonja, says it’s her father’s wallet
that’s under fire.

“I think he was targeted because he’s elderly,” she said. “I
think this gentleman knows he can come here when he needs a little cash and
it’s fast cash for him.”

John’s daughter claims Truesdale worked fast using asphalt
sealant on the concrete driveway.

“I see this black stuff coming off,” Sonja said. “This looks
like you could sweep it up.”

The paving contractor also accidentally sprayed John’s suv
and garage floor with the sealant.

“I thought he was going to come back the next day and clean
my floor,” John said. “He said I’ll be back. He didn’t come back.”

We eventually got the paving contractor on the phone who
told us he wasn’t scamming anyone.

Truesdale claims he completed the work he was paid to do.

We asked him about him customer’s dirty garage and

“I went back and washed his vehicle and I never did hear nothing else from him,” Truesdale said.

The paving contractor has since agreed to not only clean Mr.
Lovelace’s garage floor, but he’s offered to refund his money in full.

Let’s hope Truesdale follows through with his promise of a
full refund and a clean garage floor. We’ll check back.
