We have new details involving the local limousine and party bus service accused of taking customer’s money, but failing to provide limo and party bus rides.
Jason and Marsha Herron couldn’t believe someone would stand them up on their wedding day but it happened!
Drake Limousine Service was a no call and a no show.
Wednesday, the company’s owner, Chase Drake, told NewsChannel 4’s Scott Hines he’d make things right.
Scott asked, “Are you willing to give some of these customers a full refund?”
Drake replied, “I can give them a refund, a full refund. I can give them whatever.”
Less than 24 hours later, Marsha Herron received her refund and an apology from the business owner.
Drake didn’t want to go on-camera, but tells In Your Corner several former disgruntled employees contributed to the missed reservations.
“This is not the goal of my company to let anyone feel they have been cheated” he said. “The former employees and partners that failed to properly assist and complete required scheduling documentation have been terminated.”
Drake says he plans to refund all of the money to customers with a legitimate gripe.
Groupon and Living Social are also offering a full refund for those who purchased a Drake limo or party bus ride through their websites.
