NORMAN, Okla. – Authorities have identified a woman who died from a car accident this weekend in the Norman area.

Officers were called to 12th Ave. and Franklin Rd. on Saturday afternoon after witnesses say a pickup truck ran a red light and hit another truck.

Police say the driver at fault was treated and released from a nearby hospital shortly after the crash.

Tragically, the passenger in the truck that was hit died at the hospital.

Officials have now identified the victim as 29-year-old Cory Ramsey.

Police say flying debris from the crash damaged another vehicle but the driver was not hurt.

Currently, the accident is under investigation.
