CULVER CITY, Calif. – There is nothing quite like a game-show contestant who doesn’t know an answer – yet they go for it all.

“Jeopardy!” contestant Choyon Manjrekar had such a big lead on Monday night that when he didn’t know the answer to the Final Jeopardy question, he chose to clown around a bit.

The question:

“A Christian hymn and Jewish holiday hymn are both titled this, also the name of a Tony-nominated musical”

Manjrekar’s answer:

“Kinky Boots.”

“Yes indeed, whenever people go to church or to temple, they sing, ‘Kinky Boots,” joked Alex Trebek.

To be fair, “Kinky Boots” is a Tony-award winning musical. However, it is not a Christian or Jewish hymn.

The correct answer was “Rock of Ages” or “Ma’oz Tzur.”

Despite the joke, Manjrekar won the game (and the crowd) with his answer.
