KFOR wins 4 Emmy awards

OKLAHOMA CITY – KFOR NewsChannel 4 is pleased to announce the station has won four Heartland Regional Emmy Awards!

NewsChannel 4 anchor Linda Cavanaugh, along with graphic artist Brenna Campbell and photographer Micah Leon, won a Heartland Emmy Award in the Informational/Instructional – Program/Series/Special category for their series, “Faces of the Bombing,” a multi-part profile of the survivors and family members of victims of the Oklahoma City bombing.

Cavanaugh also won a Heartland Emmy Award in the Writer-Program category for her writing of the series.

KFOR photojournalist and storm tracker Marc Dillard also won a Heartland Emmy in the Breaking News category for his close encounter with a tornado in Norman.

KFOR's Lucas Ross and Marcus Ross also took home a Heartland Emmy in the Magazine Program - Feature/Segment category for their incredible work in "Look Out: It's Lucas."
