A strong earthquake rocked folks out of bed overnight.
The Oklahoma Geological Survey recorded a 4.2 magnitude quake just before 4 a.m.
Originally, the U.S. Geological Survey reported that it was a 4.5 magnitude quake, but was eventually upgraded to a 4.7 magnitude.
It struck in the north central Oklahoma town of Medford.
People felt the tremors as far north as Kansas City, Missouri and Shenandoah, Iowa, and as far south as and Lovelady, Texas – more than 650 miles away.
