OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters have contained a large grass fire in southeast Oklahoma City.
It started Friday evening around 9:40 p.m. near S.E. 119th Street and Fish Market Road.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department plus more than 10 agencies helped to contain it.
Homes that were in a 1/2 mile east of Pottawatomie Rd. and S.E. 119th Street were advised to evacuate Friday evening.
At 10:45 p.m., the Oklahoma City Fire Department said evacuations were no longer needed.
250-300 acres burned, including one single wide, one double wide, and a barn.
No injuries have been reported.
