OKLAHOMA CITY – Lawmakers have been called into a special session Tuesday.
Governor Mary Fallin issued the executive order last month after the State Supreme Court threw out a law about filing lawsuits.
The court ruled the law violates our state Constitution because it deals with more than one subject in a single bill.
The special session is required to last five days and is expected to be completed Sept. 10.
Officials estimate the special session will cost taxpayers about $30,000 per day.
