TULSA, Okla.—There is new information about a case against a Tulsa church that is accused of covering up child sexual abuse.

Police say there are multiple victims, and at least one lawsuit, that have come out against Victory Christian Center.

Authorities say a church employee, 20-year-old Christopher Denman, is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl just before church service in August.

Two days later, the victim allegedly reported the incident to church officials.

According to the lawsuit, four church leaders questioned and intimidated the girl, claiming that it was her own fault.

Police reports claim Denman confessed to the crime to church leaders just nine days later.

However, the lawsuit alleges those officials waited more than two weeks to report the assault.

Officers say they will continue to conduct interviews that could lead them to more victims or even another suspect.
