ARIZONA — It’s the age of the selfie.
A group of girls went to a Diamondbacks-Rockies game Wednesday night. While they were there, they splurged on some baseball food.
They bought hot dogs, churros, and ice cream. But instead of chowing down right away, the girls pulled out their phones and started taking selfies with their food.
A cameraman and the announcers took notice of the girls being “locked into [their] phones,” so they started commentating on the selfie shoot.
“A single here in the fourth, and nobody noticed,” the announcers laughed.
A few minutes later, after the girls had tweeted, snapped, and ‘grammed’, the diamond dolls finally started eating.
The Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 3-1.
