Lightning strikes child’s playpen

NOVA SCOTIA – A family got a scare during a lightning storm in Nova Scotia, according to WSYX.

A bolt of lightning hit their summer cottage,  blew out wiring, and left a hole in their one-year-old’s play pen.

The mom says she saw smoke and smelled burnt plastic, then grabbed the baby and ran out of the house.

No one was injured.
