3.0 magnitude earthquake rattles near Guthrie, USGS says


GUTHRIE, Okla. (KFOR) – Residents near Guthrie may have felt some shaking early Monday morning.

Just after 2 a.m., the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.0 magnitude earthquake approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Guthrie.

The USGS originally recorded the earthquake a 2.7 magnitude, but then upgraded it to 3.0 magnitude.

There have been no reports of any injuries or damage.
