Demolition day for Oklahoma City landmark near NW 50th and May

Local

OKALHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A classic Oklahoma City landmark was demolished on Tuesday.

The Central Presbyterian Church in the area of Northwest 50th and May was torn down after spending over five decades on the corner lot.

The church was sold last year because church leaders could not keep up with maintenance costs.

The new owner of the land has not yet announced his plans for the location.
