UPDATE @ 3:26 P.M. – The Jones Fire Department has confirmed this fire call came in as a burn permit that got out of control. According to officials, it was a fully-involved fire when Jones FD arrived on scene. There were no permits in the area. A downed powerline was located in the backyard, but fire official can not confirm what happened, due to grass overgrown, plus the wind. No power was found to be on at the home.
Authorities say, OG&E was called to deal with the downed line. The home is said to have been vacant for years.
At this time, no cause of the fire and or estimated damages have been released.
No injuries have been reported.

JONES, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma City Fire Department has confirmed it is responding with Jones Fire Department to a house fire located in the area of Britton Road and Spencer-Jones Road.
