OKARCHE, Okla. (KFOR) – An Oklahoma community is coming together to support a young high school basketball player.
Officials with Okarche Public Schools said Okarche High School student PK Harris was involved in a car accident on Sunday morning.
According to an accident report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Harris was driving a 2011 Dodge R3500 pickup truck southbound on County Road (NS 2740) when it crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck head-on.
After the crash, he was admitted to the intensive care unit at a local hospital in critical condition.
His family is asking for prayers.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
