“Police received reports of one person inside of a business here firing off shots,” said Sgt. Dillon Quirk with Oklahoma City Police Department.

Officers rushed to the Allstate Insurance agency at 2962 NW 156th St. near May Ave. just before 2 p.m.

“When police arrived, one person was found shot with a non-life-threatening injury,” Quirk said. “That person has been transported to a local hospital.”

He reported that the victim was hit in the chest.

Officers found the male gunman dead inside the Allstate.

“On the surface, it appears that this was a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Quirk explained. “It’s too early in the investigation to know that for sure right now.”

Investigators aren’t sure of the relationship between the gunman and the victim, but they’ll continue to investigate. At this time, they have not released identities for either.
